LIC reported Q3 Results on February 09, 2023. The company declared PAT skyrockets 27x to Rs 8,334 crore YoY, with net premium income up 14% YoY.

LIC reported Net premium income rose 14.5% YoY to Rs 1.12 lakh crore for Q3FY23. It was Rs 98,052 crore in the quarter last year.

LIC reported Income from investments jumped 10% in Q3 to Rs 85,128 crores. It was Rs 76,825 crores in Q3FY22. 

LIC reported assets under management (AUM) increased 10.54% YoY to Rs 44.34 lakh crores in Q3FY23. It was Rs 40.12 lakh crores a year ago.

LIC reported the first-year premium grew to Rs 9,724.71 crore from Rs 8,748.55 crore in the December quarter of the previous financial year.

LIC reported a total of 1.29 crore policies were sold in the individual segment during the April-December period up 1.92% YoY.

LIC reported the operating expense ratio for the nine months ending December rose 15.26% as compared to 14.99% for the nine months ending December 2021.

LIC reported the overall market share by first-year premium income was 65.38% for the nine months that ended December as compared to 61.40% for the corresponding period last year.
