Nestle India Q4 results: Nestle India follows a January-December financial year. The company reported Q4 Results on February 16, 2023. Nestle India reported a 65.7% YoY rise in net profit at Rs 628 crore for the fourth quarter that ended December 2022. The profit stood at Rs 379 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The Revenue for operations for the December quarter has jumped 13.8% YoY to Rs 4,257 crore from Rs 3,739.3 crore a year ago.

The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 75 per equity share for the year 2022. The Record Date is fixed for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the Members to the Final Dividend for the year 2022 is 21st April 2023.

Revenue from Operations (Nestle India Q4 Results)

Nestle India reported its Revenue from Operations for the December quarter has jumped 13.8% YoY to Rs 4,257 crore from Rs 3,739.3 crore a year ago.

Total Income also rose by 13.5% YoY to 4,286.34 crores from Rs 3,775.34 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The stock of Nestle India ended nearly 1.72% up on the NSE on Thursday.

Nestle India reported a 65.7% YoY rise in net profit at Rs 628 crore for the fourth quarter that ended December 2022. The profit stood at Rs 379 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

However, Net profit is down by 5% QoQ from 661.46 crores.

“Out‐of‐home (OOH) business made a strong comeback in 2022, recovering its pre-COVID base and delivering robust growth. With our ‘direct to consumer’ (D2C) platform, products manufactured by the company are now available in Delhi – NCR,” Suresh Narayanan, chairman and managing director, Nestlé India said.

Nestle India has reported an EBITDA of Rs 973 crore for the fourth quarter that ended December, higher by 14.3%, compared with Rs 851 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company reported its EBITDA margin improved to 61% YoY from 4.1% in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company has reported operating margins improved to 23% from 22.8% reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

“I am delighted to share that we delivered our highest double‐digit growth in a decade led by sustained volume and mix-led growth, leading to strong value growth. In 2022 total sales grew by 14.5 percent and domestic sales increased by 14.8 percent, with broad-based performance across all categories,” Suresh Narayanan, chairman and managing director, Nestlé India said.

“Out‐of‐home (OOH) business made a strong comeback in 2022, recovering its pre-COVID base and delivering robust growth. With our ‘direct to consumer’ (D2C) platform, products manufactured by the company are now available in Delhi – NCR,” he said.

“Premiumization is one of the growth engines that will lead to the future acceleration of the business,” Suresh Narayanan said.
